Problem

Travelers, students, and professionals often need more than a one-line text translator. Voice conversations, menus and signs, and PDF or document translation usually force them into separate apps with uneven quality.

Challenge

The product had to feel fast on everyday phones while covering several translation modes — text, speech, images, and files — without turning the interface into a cluttered utility drawer.

Approach

We designed around the jobs people actually do: type a message, speak in a conversation, scan printed text, or upload a document. Each mode gets a clear entry point, shared language selection, and a simple copy/share path after the result.

Development process

1. 01

   Define the translation jobs

   Mapped the four real use cases — text, voice, camera, and files — and prioritized a first release that covered each without bloating settings.

2. 02

   Design the mobile flow

   Built a simple home structure so users can switch modes quickly, pick languages once, and share results with minimal taps.

3. 03

   Ship to Google Play

   Implemented the Flutter Android app, integrated AI translation and recognition services, and published the product for public download.
